Another image from Shamrock, Oklahoma. This one was taken in the "downtown" part of Shamrock, which has a pretty large number of buildings and store fronts. Many of the stores in this area still seem to have ruined merchandise sitting in the front windows. It seems that the shop owners just decided to walk away, lock the doors and never come back. This place is creepy.

• i don't know, there's at least 100 ghost towns in OK but with NC history dating as far back as the early 1500's, there should, nonetheless, be some interesting photo op finds.
